Chris has enjoyed “smacking the tubs” for about 30 years now. Formally the drummer with NJ-based cover band Dry Ice, Chris is always looking for the next challenge. He has played in a variety of musical situations, from weddings to studio work. His drumming can be heard on CDs from Connecticut-based bands Free Fall (“Flying”) and Twice Around (“Short Story Long”) as well as on the debut album by former Broadway vocalist Elizabeth Dargan Doyle (“In Sunshine or In Shadow”).

Never satisfied with his playing, Chris has been studying with Berklee graduate and master drummer Scott Strunk for the past three years. His favorite players and influences include Ringo Starr and Phil Collins, but lately Chris says he is inspired by “anything with a groove.” He is excited to be lending his services to High Maintenance, and enjoys the challenge of the band’s very diverse material, especially the contemporary stuff, which can really keep a drummer on their toes!
